On Oct 22, Microsoft introduced a new operating system to the world, Windows 7. The system attempts to fix annoyances caused by the much maligned Windows Vista and includes new features such as Pin, Jump List and Aero Shake, similar to features found in Mac OS X.
Windows 7 comes in three versions ones: Home Premium, Professional and Ultimate.
Upgrading your Vista PC should be rather easy depending on what version of Vista you have and what version of 7 you purchase. On the other hand, XP users have quite a bit of work to do.
For XP users, according to Microsoft, the following is required: Run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor, backup your files using Window Easy Transfer (I recommend using an external hard drive), locate the original program install disks (and downloaded .exe files), install Windows 7, reinstall your programs and use Windows Easy Transfer to put your files back on your computer.
Windows 7 has received positive reviews. XP users can expect difficulties when upgrading to 7 while Vista users will experience a facilitated upgrade process. For more information about upgrading to 7, visit:

Until next time,
Hasta la Mac !
